Meet Skylar!

Skylar is a sweet, gorgeous, 1 year old female Siberian Husky.

She came into rescue after a young couple took her from someone who was no longer able to care for her.

At her young age, she was already heartworm positive, but we have treated her, and she now has a clean bill of health.

The couple realized their lifestyle was too busy to meet Skylar's needs, so she is now looking for her perfect forever home.

Skylar is a very sweet girl.

She gets along well with other dogs, and is fine with older children (over 12).

She has not been tested with cats.

Skylar is a petite little girl, currently weighing in at around 38 pounds.

Her ideal weight would

be between 40-45 pounds.

She is very stoic and reserved in new situations, but once she's comfortable she is very loving and loves being with her people. Breed experience and a fenced in yard is preferred.

As with all of our dogs, we recommend a basic obedience class to help her understand what is expected of her, and this also helps with the bonding process.

Skylar's adoption fee is $475, which covers all her vetting, preventatives, fostering costs and other associated expenses.

We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
